In October 2024, Silicon Brighton approached Good Looking Design with a bold vision: to create Brighton’s largest tech conference for summer 2025. Inspired by the ambition, we jumped straight in. The conference, named Evolve, was chosen to reflect both the constant progression of technology and a commitment to sustainability. Every brand touchpoint, from lanyards to banners and stage designs, was intentionally crafted for reuse. The goal was to build an identity that would last beyond a single event. We created a tech-forward brand identity that connected with the industry while also integrating thoughtful and environmentally conscious print solutions. The website was built to evolve in parallel with the event itself. Initially, it served as a teaser to spark curiosity and generate early buzz. With no sponsors, partners, or speakers confirmed, the goal was to create a compelling atmosphere that hinted at what was to come. This early phase alone drove over 200 early bird ticket sales, proving the strength of the concept. As planning progressed, the website transitioned into a showcase for early supporters. Sponsors, partners, and exhibitors who took the leap were prominently featured, reinforcing the credibility and momentum of the event. In the final lead-up to the conference, we updated the site to include detailed speaker profiles and the full agenda, transforming it into a central hub for attendee planning. On the day of the event, the site saw over 2,000 visits, confirming its role as an essential resource.
